During the 30's, the East Wing was rented out to foreign embassies and out of the remainder was formed the Strandvagen boarding house. Its excellent location, atmosphere and personal service created a great demand. Therefore, the building today has been completely rebuilt into a modern hotel with its turn of the century atmosphere reverently preserved.
